Installing Travertine and Matching Porcelain Tiles

Gutted the room, prepped with concrete board and ready for Schlüter underlay systems.

One type of material is set with thinset into the shower to make it water tight.

A 2nd type of material is used to prevent cracks in the Travertine stone.

Travertine also used for window sills and tub surround to make area water-tight.

Travertine being laid in toilet room.

Contrasting pieces of Travertine are set into the threshhold to made it stand out visually.

Shower transition is made of Travertine and matches the Porcelain shower tiles.

Door frames are also Travertine. Porcelain is used in the shower as it requires much less maintenance.

Baseboard and framing cut from Travertine.

Natural Stone gives the room a rich, warm feeling tile can't achieve.

Floor transitions are smooth but highlighted with contrasting stone pieces.

Towel Bar is heated electrically.
